The Past
Brought forth anno Domini 2002.
With the intentions to use, a creative mix between gothic, doom and power metal.
It succeeded, but unfortunatly not for long....

Then, the sky turned, major changes until the west wind became steady, we finally stand strong and stable , as never before.
A new beginning, but still in the same direction, we strive to succeed, where they had fought for....

The Present
We will bring the ancient heroes home again.
By using their thoughts, their feelings, joy and pain, courage and cowardice.
Myths, legends, gods and godesses, tangled into everyday life.
Inspiration for us and our songs.

Combining, we will, our thoughts and emotions, with their written and spoken words.

Not unlike the wind, the band Sephyros is formed by personalities ranging from a refreshing breeze to a raging storm, they are Janneke de Boer (vocals), Jeroen Bakker (guitar), Sander Stegeman(bassguitar), Peter Rinia (drums), and Menno Terpstra (keyboards).
